Our appointments combine monitoring your pregnancy with thoughtful preparation for birth and life with your baby. First-time mothers are a particular passion of mine, and whether this is your first baby or your fourth, your care reflects your individual needs.
Labs & Ultrasounds
Home birth care includes access to modern prenatal testing. I can order bloodwork, prenatal screening, genetic tests, and ultrasounds, explain what each can tell us, and help you understand your results. Together, we’ll discuss recommendations and next steps so you can make informed decisions and understand how testing contributes to your care.
Home Birth Care
Give birth in the familiarity of your own home with attentive, experienced midwifery care. I offer encouragement, practical support, and careful monitoring of you and your baby, while respecting your privacy and preferences. If a transfer becomes necessary, my support continues at the hospital as the hospital team takes over your clinical care.
Herbal & Nutritional Support
Practical guidance on nutrition, herbs, movement, and everyday comfort is woven into your care. Drawing on traditional midwifery knowledge and current evidence, I help you explore options suited to your needs and preferences. We’ll consider safety and usefulness alongside your overall care plan, with recommendations that feel manageable in daily life.
Postpartum & Newborn Care
You deserve attentive care after your baby arrives, too. Our follow-up visits include care for your recovery, newborn examinations, breastfeeding support, and time to talk through the physical and emotional changes of early parenthood. You’ll have a familiar midwife to turn to as you heal, get to know your baby, and find your footing.
Hospital Birth Support
Planning a hospital birth? I offer midwifery care and support while you labor at home, followed by non-medical doula support in the hospital. Alongside the clinical care provided by your hospital team, I offer comfort measures, encouragement, and help communicating your preferences, giving you and your partner a familiar presence throughout labor and birth.
